Royse City Theft Suspects Leads Police on Chase Through Rockwall, Downtown Dallas, and Into Ellis County with Flat Tires

A theft suspect was arrested after a chase along I-30 in Rockwall County ended in Dallas. The suspect reportedly drove through multiple cities after his tires were deflated with spike strips.

A Royse City police officer attempted to pull over Jerry Don Frazier, Jr. in a silver truck around 1:30 a.m. The RCPD officer reportedly observed Frazier leaving a construction site with construction materials and the chase quickly led to westbound I-30.

A spike strip was deployed in Rockwall and took out Frazier’s left front tire. But he continued driving through Garland, Mesquite, and into Dallas.

Frazier drove to downtown Dallas before leading officers to I-45 South where another spike strip was deployed. It deflated the right front tire of the truck but Frazier continued into Ellis County.

The driver finally exited 5th Street in Ferris and eventually slid onto a curb, the vehicle disabled, according to FOX 4.

No injuries were reported.

Frazier, Jr.received multiple charges including theft, evading arrest and drug possession.
