Texas Health Hospital Rockwall Revises Visitor Policy Due to Rise in COVID-19 Cases

From Texas Health Hospital Rockwall:

With community spread of COVID-19 on the rise, Texas Health Rockwall must once again update our Visitation Policy. As caregivers, we understand how important it is to have the support of family and friends while in the hospital; however we are obligated to limit exposure risk to our patients and care teams while reducing spread of infection in the community.

Under the updated visitor policy which goes into effect Tuesday, Nov. 24, most departments are returning to ONE VISITOR PER DAY (rather than one visitor at a time), provided the visitor meets screening criteria and the patient is not COVID-19 positive or suspected of having COVID-19.

Still NO VISITORS allowed for outpatient services (such as radiology, lab, pre-admit testing).

Exceptions can be made for patients under the age of 18 and those with disability, impairment or mobility issues. Extenuating circumstances are determined on a case by case basis.

Please review our current Visitation Policy for details, and contact the hospital at 469-698-1000 prior to your arrival if you have questions. We truly appreciate your support.
