At approximately 1:45 a.m. on Monday morning, Troopers were dispatched to a crash on I-30 approximately one mile north of Greenville.
Preliminary investigation indicates a Black Jeep Wrangler was traveling east on I-30. For an as yet undetermined reason, the vehicle left the roadway, struck a culvert and flipped onto its side.
The vehicle was occupied with four adults and two children. The driver and other adult passengers were all transported to the Medical City of Plano with non-life threatening injuries.
A four year old child was transported to Hunt Regional with non-life threatening injuries. A six year old child died at the scene.
The investigation is on-going and no further information is available at this time.
