Statement from Rockwall County Office of Emergency Management:

With the news of travel-related confirmed cases of Coronavirus in Tarrant, Dallas, and Collin counties, we wanted to assure you that RCOEM has been monitoring the situation for several weeks now. During that time, we have been working with the local Public Health Authority, Department of State Health Services, Rockwall County departments, and all of the cities in Rockwall County to be prepared to meet this possible threat.

Currently, we have no positive cases of COVID-19 in Rockwall County, and the immediate threat is low to our county. If our threat level changes, and it could change rapidly, we will work with our state and local partners to provide you with accurate and timely information.
