On Saturday, November 9th the Rockwall Police Department in conjunction with the Dallas County Sheriff’s Department hosted a VIN etching event in the parking lot of Home Depot. 40 cars had their vehicle identification number etched into the glass of the car, thereby reducing the likelihood that the vehicle will be stolen.
