Governor Greg Abbott today announced that Allstate Insurance Company will be expanding headcount in their facility in Irving, Texas. Founded in 1931, Allstate is one of the largest insurance providers in the United States. The expansion creates 1,300 jobs and $11 million in capital investment. A Texas Enterprise Fund (TEF) grant of $2,600,000 has been extended to Allstate Insurance Company.
“Allstate is one of the largest and most recognizable insurance providers in the nation, and I am grateful for its continued investment in the Lone Star State,” said Governor Abbott. “Allstate’s expansion in Irving is more than a capital investment, it is an investment in this community—one that will create more jobs and spur economic growth. With our talented workforce and business-friendly climate, companies like Allstate have the opportunity help write Texas’ economic success story.”
“We appreciate the partnership with the City of Irving as well as with the State of Texas,” said Greg Burns, senior vice president Human Resources, Allstate. “We’re excited to expand our presence in the Irving area as we provide the best service to customers, develop talent and serve the community.”
