Rockwall ISD is hosting several events for parents to help students with a variety of social issues from anxiety to understanding the teenage brain.
Beginning March 29th, all programs will be located at the Rockwall ISD Administration Building Room 600 on 1050 Williams Street. The first course will focus on resiliency and creating “bounce back” kids. This activity for parents will address the three factors needed for children to become more resilient in school and in life.
Then on April 5, Rockwall ISD will host “helping kids with stress and anxiety” followed by another program on April 12 “this is your brain on adolescence.” The first program will help with important coping skills needed to help your child deal with stress, while the other program will look deeper into the relationship between parents and their children during adolescence.
