Garry Dwayne Sharp, 62, a thirty-five-year resident of Royse City, Texas, passed away March 12, 2019. Garry was born to Mildred Louise Cooper and Horace Dwayne Sharp on February 19, 1957, in Vernon, Texas.
Garry married Debi David, the love of his life, and they walked together in love for 38 years. Garry worked at Winston Water Cooler. He was an avid outdoorsman, spending time on boats, water-skiing, snow skiing, and he grew up rodeoing. He was a hard worker, loved to talk and be social and he cared deeply for his friends. Garry loved life and all it had to offer. Garry was a wonderful husband, father, and son-in-law and he will be missed by many.
Garry leaves behind his wife of 38 years, Debi Sharp; one son: Austen Sharp; two sisters: Patsy Leathers and husband Johnny and Connie Morris; nieces: Cami Wilkerson and husband Mark, Britni Sharp, Presli Johnson; nephews: Ryan Morris and Dustin Spiegelmeyer; and in-laws: Jerome and Shirley Williams and Marvin and Brenda David; along with a host of other friends and relatives.
Garry is preceded in death by his parents; one brother: Timmy Sharp; and one sister: Gail Sharp.
A gathering of friends and family will be held on Thursday, March 14, 2019, from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M., at Rest Haven – Royse City location.
