Royse City Independent School District held a groundbreaking ceremony in Fate for the new Bobby Summers Middle School. The school is named after Summer who has served as a RCISD Trustee since 1996. The new school is expected to service 1,000 students and is planned to be opened in 2020. It will be located across from Fate City Hall at 1900 CD Boren Pkwy.
