William “Bill” Frank Lemmons Obituary

William “Bill” Frank Lemmons, a 15 year resident of Royse City, TX, passed away February 1, 2019, at the age of 71. He was born March 22, 1947, in Los Angeles, CA, to William Frank and Juanita (Veatch) Lemmons. Bill graduated from Mesquite High School in 1966 and went on to marry his sweetheart, Joyce, of 45 years where together they spent 29 years in Rockwall County. He was an ordained minister in the Christian faith who deeply loved his family and was buddies with his grandkids. Bill was a creative man with many hobbies including: fishing, gardening and oil painting. He retired from the food industry after 30 years and truly enjoyed his work. Cooking for large groups of people was a passion of his, especially when he was able to put his skill to use at the wedding for both of his daughters.

Bill is survived by his loving wife: Joyce Kay Lemmons; children: Eric Lee Lemmons, Jennifer Kay Solomon and husband Hans, Judith Karyn Manary and husband Justin; grandchildren: Eric Lee Lemmons, Jr. and wife Heather, Carson Lemmons, Trevor Lemmons, Meagan Cheyenne Manary, Taylor Rose Manary, Evelyn Grace Solomon; great grandson: Tristan Lemmons; sister: Donna Hall; brother: Rick Lemmons and wife Jan; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers: Jerry Lemmons and Larry Lemmons; and sister: Jackie McClenahan.
