Rockwall County scored a A grade for social distancing according to the ‘Social Distancing Scoreboard’ developed by Unacast. It is based on GPS location data and was created to measure and understand the efficacy of social distancing initiatives at the local level.
The results are calculated by monitoring “tens of millions of anonymous mobile phones and their interactions with each other each day”, according to the company.
Rockwall County scored a A because Unacast measured a 44% decrease in travel in the area.
An decrease greater than 40% is an A grade, 30-40% is a B, 20-30% is a C, 10-20% is a D, and under 10% is a F.
